Inspired by Greta Thunberg
At 16 she started her climate strike , outside of the Swedish parlament every Friday . Shortly after, she became noticed by UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and she made history, a young girl was invited into the warmth of world leaders and her voice was heard. In retrospect, there is a lot of criticism surrounding her as a person and message, never the less, she is an trailblazer.
The sculpture is life-size put together from thousands of porcelain shards, porcelain that has been donated to the project from neighbors, second-hand shops and strangers. It took me 9 months to finish up the piece.
